How to be an advocate for women in STEM
For every 100 math and computer science doctoral degrees men received in 2020, women received fewer than 39. How can we work to empower women in STEM to close this staggering gap? Do professional experiences for women in STEM differ from what one might imagine when just starting out, and how we can we champion women coming up in the workforce? In our latest What’s Next seminar, we aim to discuss these questions and more. We’ll be having a candid conversation with IBM Researchers building what's next in hybrid cloud, quantum computing, and AI, including:
- Olivia Lanes, Qiskit Research and Education Lead, IBM Quantum
- Priya Nagpurkar, Director Hybrid Cloud Platform
- Sara Berger, Neuroscientist - Responsible & Inclusive Tech
- Saska Mojsilovic, IBM Fellow, AI Research
