A diabetic patient in his 70s returns to the office after nine months. He recently received a minimally invasive procedure to improve the blood flow in his right leg. However, his blood sugar is poorly controlled and now he has classic diabetes symptoms including excessive thirst and urination, and numbness, and tingling in his feet.
