This wild camp was one of my most exposed nights ever! No tent, just a bivvy bag and the open mountain. I hiked up solo, found a stunning spot with panoramic views, and settled in for a quiet night under the stars. What I didn’t expect was the insane sunset that painted the sky in so many beautiful colours!

With nothing but the bivvy between me and the elements, this camp was raw, peaceful, and a little nerve-wracking at times. Sleeping so exposed reminded me just how vulnerable, and alive, solo camping can make you feel.
