Excerpted from Pink Martini's live concert at Edgefield in Portland, "Hey Eugene" is the title track to the band's third album, written by lead singer China Forbes. Filmed on a rainy day in September 2021, soon after the band started touring again after a long hiatus during quarantine, the performance features Dan Faehnle on guitar, Thomas Barber on trumpet, Robert Taylor on trombone, and a host of the band's friends and guest singers on backup vocals. This video is excerpted from an epic 3-hour concert that was also broadcast to the band's fans online.
