Homebrew 6809 Computer... plays Atari ST music?!

(music starts at 3:06 if you want to skip my explanation)

With a bit of hacking, I got my little 8-bit, 2MHz computer to play Atari ST music...

An Atari ST song is basically a chunk of 68000 machine code, so I hacked up XSC (http://xsc.atari.org/) to dump all YM register changes to a file. The 6809 computer then fills its entire RAM (512K) with the data and burns through it, slamming values to the YM2149.

It pretty much works, though there are some slight sound differences due to timing.

This is the song played in the video, recorded from an actual ST: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMDGzpGpvEk

(Yes, I know the video is out of focus. There's nothing to see anyway.)
