Fridge cable damage is most 4wders nightmare. No one wants hot beer or even worse a trip being cut short because of a simple mistake. And a very common one at that.

The humble fridge slide is quite easily the best invention since the 12v fridge. But unfortunately they all have a floor. It is very easy for the fridge power cable to get stuck in the runners and damaged.

There are a few solutions available already the Clearview cable saver, it works but isn’t perfect. And the Fridge Cable Caddy that is ridiculously expensive.

So with my obsession to tinker with things, I decided to have a go at making my own version of the Fridge Cable Caddy and this is how I went. For less than $20 too. This is the ultimate fridge slide solution.
