The Basics:

When i got my ARB fridge a while ago i wired up the factory cigarette lighter in the trunk to a constant in the fuse box. the idea was so i can plug/unplug it whenever i needed without the need to drill or cut any more holes into the interior panels.

The Problem:

Basically, the fridge didnt get cold enough. compared to my buddies 50qt, it was mediocre at best. it was cold, but not freezing or frosty like his was. i tried to adjust the temp on the fridge but it would never get THAT cold.

All cars with fridges

Solution:

Use the ARB wiring kit and connect the fridge straight to the battery.
