Various groups of Morris Dancers performed their traditional English Folk Dances around the city today. A bit different from the Cheraw. The dances can be traced back as far as the 15th century. They perform with clogs (wooden soled shoes), and bells on the shoes, and shins. Sticks or swords, or handkerchiefs are used. They often dance around the Whitsun Springtime Festivals, hence the flowers.
