Cable Music Channel – SHUTDOWN (November 1984)

The very last broadcast and shutdown of the Cable Music Channel on TV. The channel ran from October to November 1984 as a defense mechanism against MTV's unsuccessful attempts to increase the fees that cable providers paid to carry the channel by twofold. In response to this, Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) offered the channel without any carriage fees.

I'm sorry for the random jump cuts in the video. Some parts of the music video caused this whole video to get blocked worldwide. I had to cut them out so there wouldn't be visibility problems.
