Starving Horses Run to their Rescuers!

Days End recently helped a concerned community with 5 horses suffering from neglect. All horses have been seen by our vet and a critical care plan for each horse’s needs has been made and is currently being executed. The horses will be monitored closely by staff and interns as they progress through the rehabilitation process which includes deworming, dental examinations and vaccinations. Critical care for horses in rehabilitation is roughly $2,000 a month, this year DEFHR has welcomed 26 horses suffering from neglect into our rehabilitation program – your generous donations make it possible.
