Warning - Distressing footage. RSPCA Arab horse case rescue

Please be warned this is very distressing footage.

In September 2018, Redwings Senior Welfare Vet Roxane Kirton assisted the RSPCA, police and representatives from fellow equine charities to rescue 31 Arabian horses found in desperate squalor at a site in Blackpool.

This video, filmed by the RSPCA, shows Roxane assessing one of the severely neglected horses.

In July 2019, the owner of the horses was prosecuted for their suffering under the Animal Welfare Act.
