Albino baby elephant, Khanyisa opens the orphanage gate and goes walkabout 🌿☀️

Goood morning friends! Khanyisa, Lammie and Nungu are here to share their new day with you! It’s a beautiful day with the sun out and the skies blue! Khanyisa is extra cheeky and curious as she opens the gate to the orphanage garden and lets herself out for a walkabout while the other elephants watch on — including Jabulani who shares a homestead quadrant with Mambo and Lundi and Timisa, Pisa, Kumbura and Limpopo who share Tokwe and Fishan.

Herman helps to get Khanyisa back into the garden and Khensani joins for some grassy nibbles. Khanyisa isn’t a fan of wet grass and lifts her one foot off the ground when feeding or skirts around the edges of the grass just to avoid getting damp.

Lammie and Nungu stay close as the sun gets brighter and brighter. We’ll share Khanyisa’s morning with the herd next!
