One of the most oft-asked questions I get is, "what flooring should I put in my home gym?"

The answer for most is pretty simple. Buy 4'x6' 3/4" Horse Stall Mats. They're cheap, thick, and protect your foundation against damage from dropping barbells and plates.

However, some of you are like me and want something a bit different. This is where turf, rolled rubber flooring and all sorts of other options come into play.

Regardless, the one type of flooring you SHOULD NOT buy is foam exercise mats. They're awful. Avoid at all costs.
