Lawyer X final report to be made public today
The final report in the Lawyer X commission will be made public today after almost two years of investigation into the unprecedented legal saga.
The report centres around the use of Nicola Gobbo - an underworld criminal barrister turned informer for the Victorian Police - in high-profile criminal cases over the course of 16 years.
More than 80 people including high-ranking representatives from the Victorian Police, Ms Gobbo and Premier Daniel Andrews provided testimonies.
Findings by the Royal Commission Chair Margaret McMurdo will be tabled in parliament then made public later today.
