Alpine Meadow Grass Silage Harvesting | Erlengrat Farm | Farming simulator 22 | Timelapse #160

Welcome back to the Erlengrat Farm Timelapse. Today, we are in the process of producing silage using freshly mown grass harvested from alpine meadows. Our operations are powered by advanced machinery, including the KRONE BIG X 1180 forage harvester equipped with a grass collection header and the HAVE SUW 5000 reloader trailer. As we gather and chop the grass, it's efficiently loaded into the trailer. To aid in transporting this chopped vegetation from the harvester to our delivery vehicles, we rely on the HOLMER TERRA VARIANT 650 vehicle with a reloader trailer.
In order to manage the transportation of the fodder, we've deployed two trucks with trailers initially. Later, we introduced two additional CLAAS XERION 4200 SADDLE TRAC tractors, each towing a trailer, to further streamline our delivery process. The chopped grass is transported to our silo, where it's expertly leveled using a JCB 4355 wheel loader. Subsequently, compaction of the chaff is carried out by the CLAAS Axion 960 TERRA TRAC tractor in conjunction with the WEBERMT DSC 180 silage machines.
In our endeavor to bolster the volume of harvested grass, we've expanded our reach by acquiring two additional meadows. Our dedicated mowers are dispatched to these new locations to efficiently cut the grass and enhance our silage production capabilities.
