Animals VS Lion

I have seen donkeys give hyenas serious beatings, but it’s the first time I've seen a donkey get this close to a lion and scare it, and the big cat just growls and remains in his corner. Maybe he’s tied or perhaps, even injured. Felines are extremely agile, and you can see what I mean in this video, as we can see a leopard and a lion jumping in mid-air to try and snatch a few birds.

When a massive elephant decides to annoy a couple of lions trying to relax, it doesn’t take time for the felines to get the message and get out of the large animal’s way. The trumpeting of the elephant is scary enough, without even taking into consideration his size. Lions will attack and kill vultures because they annoy them. Once they kill a vulture, they don’t necessarily eat the birds. This male lion took a run at some vultures but was way too slow to snatch any.

Rhino VS Lion

This incredible sighting at the Welgevonden Game Reserve when wildlife enthusiasts spotted a rhino being chased by a pride of lionesses stunned everyone there. In the end, the rhino escaped from the big cats without a scratch. The lion pride only wanted to play and perfect their hunting skills, but the rhino did not give them a fighting chance. These two male lions must watch their back as an angry rhino forces them to move away. One of the lions has a bad limp and can barely run.

I don’t know if the rhino is the culprit or not, but he just wants them to leave. I think the message is clear! For some reason the lion with the limp sticks around. These cats are stubborn because they have a kill and are trying to eat there, but the rhino won’t have it, so he just keeps harassing them. This lion reminds me of my cat when he notices something, but is kind of afraid, so he sneaks up on it to gently tap it to see how it reacts.

The male lion is young, and as soon as he gently taps the rhino on the “derriere”, he runs off, afraid of how the large animal will react, and for good reason. While lions are known to hunt rhino calves, attempts to hunt down fully adult rhinos are uncommon, even when a pride of lions is around. While elephants have been known to see rhinos as competition, rhinos normally keep to themselves — and they will only attack if they or their offspring are threatened. In these short clips, you can see rhinos interacting with many animals, and they usually do well in such circumstances.
