1975 Svensk Hyllningsfest in Lindsborg, Kansas - Part 2

This is more 50-year-old archive film footage from Svensk Hyllningsfest in 1975!
That year of Hyllningsfest was themed "Stars, Stripes, and American Swedes" in anticipation of the Bicentennial the next year in 1976. (By this point, the festival had solidly landed on the "only odd-numbered years" tradition, so they wouldn't have been able to celebrate the Bicentennial in '76 as part of Hyllningsfest.)
This reel starts with some great footage of that year's game against St. Mary's, then moves on to some delicious shots of the Smörgåsbord meal (can you say "Swedish meatballs extreme closeup"?)
After rejoining the game for a bit, we then go footage of part of that year's evening entertainment - the musical performance and dance group "Up With People" (showing some VERY '70s styles).
Next, art and traditional Swedish fashion at the the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery. The film wraps up with presentation of a Swedish flag at a group meal and a close-up of that year's commemorative medal.
