Peripheral nerves are the portion of the nerve that has already exited this spinal cord, and can supply anything from the organs in the pelvis to the muscles in the pelvic floor. Hydrodissection is an injection technique where we place fluid in the tissues surrounding the nerves to create space for those nerves to do their job. These injections are done in a series in order to retrain the pelvic floor. We want to create space around the nerves so that they have the ability to restore their blood flow and their normal signaling. In order to do this we need to do multiple injections for the body to reset.
