You Must Balance Your Parts --- Twin Screw Adapter CNC Turning

Big CNC Turning and a bit of Milling on a Twin Screw Extruder Adapter for the Plastics Industry. Part is for a long time customer that keeps us busy with cool and interesting parts. The turning on this part was very enjoyable and came out real nice on the Okuma LBX 4000. The milling was a bit more challenging with the very long tool extension that we had to make just for this job. After milling there was some hand polishing to achieve the required 16rms finish on the twin funnel and off to the customer the part went.

This part shipped a couple of weeks ago and all I have left is memories and a nice video.
