Feb 10, 2024 So I found at Harbor Freight for $9, the Pittsburgh Dual Suction Cup, item 59689. This is super heavy duty although I don't know long term how it will last, but it's definitely much better built. Another problem is that it's red - I'll spray paint it black just to make it less noticeable.
Oct 25, 2024 looks like the grab bars aren't the highest quality, so be sure to check them every time to be sure they work. One of my suction cups dislodged from the bar, rendering it dangerously useless. Also, they aren't designed to be in high heat environment such as the glass roof which tend to get super hot in the sun. So to make them last a bit longer, remove them when not in use. I do not know if name brand pricier ones would be any better in an extremely hot environment. If anyone knows of a grab bar that can handle the high heat environment let us know on the comments.
