Starboard Deck Core Replacement Around Cockpit. Episode 92

Back to the starboard side deck! I cut away the next 6 feet of top skin around the cockpit, removed the rotten MDF core, and reinforced the joint with thickened resin and two layers of CSM. A new closed-cell foam core was installed, topped with 1708 fiberglass, and finally sealed with the original top skin bonded back in place using resin and Cabosil.
