Removing the Old Cockpit Panels & Pressure Washing the Cabin Ceiling. Episode 125

In this episode, I remove the old plywood backing panels around the companionway entrance together with all the outdated cockpit displays.

After removing the equipment, I blank all remaining holes using pre-made fiberglass sheets, preparing the cockpit for a cleaner and stronger future layout.

Next, I switch to the cabin interior and pressure wash the ceiling using my custom-built attachment with a spinning nozzle. The paint removal works surprisingly well and leaves the surface much cleaner.

After the boat dries, I attempt to sand the ceiling using an angle grinder, but the process proves more difficult than expected — the battle with the old paint continues.

Another major cleanup and preparation step was completed aboard Victoria.
