🔴Why Keto Is better with intermittent fasting versus OMAD

I announce my fast every Sunday on FB or YouTube Live.
I'm 48 hours into my fast. I fast to encourage my patients. Seeing an example of fasting helps them see it is possible. Each week fasting becomes a little easier for them and for me.

INTERMITTENT FASTING - For many months I was one meal a day. OMAD. Once you become ketogenic, cholecystokinin SHOOTS up. Cholecystokinin is a hormone produced when we eat fat. If you've been on a low-fat diet, you don't make much cholecystokinin. Your production is low because of years of low-fat-eating.

We were never meant to count calories for a lifetime. As long as we've been counting calories we've been struggling with our weight.
There's a much better way to manage the weight = Cholecystokinin.

Patients plateau on their weight loss when they do one meal a day if they get stingy on their calorie intake. They're not paying attention to what their body is saying. They have not listening for satiety.

Instead, they decrease calories. They consume fewer and fewer calories. Low calorie is not the same as OMAD. Low calorie diets slow down metabolism. Don't do that.

I want your body producing cholecystokinin and giving you a satiated feeling. Feel FULL.

Stimulate your hormones to feel full. That works much better than counting calories. You can feel full for the whole day.

That's primal. Eat until you feel full. Not low calorie.

OMAD = works if you eat until you feel full.
OMAD can turn into low calorie. Be careful.

Listen to your body.

When you feel full, stop eating.
