Doc, I’m following a Ketogenic Diet. I'm making ketones but I'm not losing weight. What’s the matter?
EXAMPLE: A thin person who is 52 years old.

She suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. She wants to know if the ketogenic diet will be good for her.

She's 5’2” and 105 pounds.That’s underweight. She can't afford to lose much weight.

She has an inflammatory disease: rheumatoid arthritis. Her inflammatory markers are turned on as a result of her disease process.

Rheumatoid arthritis ages her joints much faster than normal. We need to turn that off. She’s only 52.

Her joints need to work for another 40 years. In order to do that we have to turn off that inflammatory process. That’s where KETO comes in.
