A Tiny Republic in Vilnius, Lithuania | In The Baltics E1

I spent the day walking the streets of Vilnius, Lithuania! My first time in the Baltics and day one of a trip that will take me to all three of the Baltic countries.

After joining a walking tour I got to see a tiny republic situated in the centre of the city, a place called the Republic of Užupis, which in a light-hearted way claims independence from Lithuania. Back across the river I stopped by Literature Street, the former Jewish district, some secret courtyards hidden inside the old town and the impressive Cathedral of Vilnius with its separate bell tower.

After a quick snack I spent the evening walking along the Neris River and flying the drone alongside small row boats on the water and between massive, modern buildings of the city's skyline.
