Deep Beginner Hip Stretches | Relieve Stiffness | HATHA FLOW YOGA
Join me as we relieve hip stiffness with this beginner friendly hatha flow! I LOVE working with this area of the body because it’s RELAXING and usually feels like such a release of tension.

We’ll begin with a wide legged forward fold - you should first feel a stretch on the outside edge of ankles - then drape forward more to feel a stretch in the back of the legs and hamstrings.
As we continue through the flow going deeper and deeper into our hips stretches (don’t worry, I provide modifications for every posture! This is totally BEGINNER friendly), don’t forget to:
✨Send your breath down into the hips
✨Modify! When it comes to these deep stretches, more is not always better
✨Be grateful for everything that your unique body can do
We’ll end with a fold over butterfly stretch, and I invite you to stay in that stretch as long as possible/ while it feels good to do so! You’ll feel so refreshed, released, and ready to take on all that the world has to offer!
