This is the radio mix of "Whole Wide World", the 1989 single by American singer, A'Me Lorain (born Amy Trujillo on 5/11/67, in Simi Valley, California).
Lorain fronted the Family Affair, which also featured her brother Freddy Trujillo on bass and then-husband Victor Indrizzo on guitar and drums.

"Whole Wide World" (charted in 1990) was Lorain's first hit single, reaching #9 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, #37 on the Billboard Hot Dance Maxi Singles chart, and #13 on the Cash Box Top 100. The song was also featured in the 1989 Nancy Savoca-directed film, "True Love".

Lorain released the follow-up single, "Follow My Heartbeat", that same year. The song reached #72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted higher on the Cash Box Top 100, where it reached #56.
