B T Express - Shout It Out (album version) (1978)

Based in Brooklyn, the B.T. Express (originally named Brooklyn Transit Express) had chart success in the 70's. Mainly due the success of their Top 10 hits "Do It ("Til Your Satisfied)" (1974 - BB Pop-#2/BB Dance-#8/BB R&B-#1/CB Pop-#6) and "Express" (1975 - BB Pop-#4/BB Dance-#1/BB R&B-#1/CB Pop-#9). They even had had one more Top 40 crossover hit with the double-sided "Peace Pipe/Give It What You Got" (1975 - BB Pop-#31/BB R&B-#5/BB Dance-#3/CB Pop-#40).

"Shout It Out" was released as a single in 1978. The song peaked at #12 on the Billboard R&B chart and made it to #90 in Canada. It never crossed over to the Pop chart on Billboard, but it did make the Cash Box Looking Ahead chart, peaking at #101. This is the album version.
