PA Announcing for softball at West Point
This past Spring, I was given the great opportunity to be the PA Announcer for Army West Point's softball team. The Army Softball Complex is in West Point and is, in my opinion, one of the better venues in the Patriot League (the Conference they play in), if not the Northeast. The view beyond the outfield wall is of Hunter Hill and Storm King Mountain, and behind the 1st base bleachers is the Hudson River. In these scenes, we see moments from various games, starting with a couple of quick clips from a doubleheader against Holy Cross, followed by a couple from a doubleheader against Bucknell, and ending with a great game-ending catch by Army West Point's left fielder to seal the win against Albany. Many thanks to those in the athletic department who afforded me such an opportunity to work with the team, as well as those who were in the press box with me for every game. Those people who were there were consummate professionals, and people who I would be more than happy to work with on a daily basis. Enjoy the view from the press box. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome.
