New Brunswick leaders' debate – September 3, 2020
New Brunswick political party leaders Blaine Higgs (Progressive Conservative), Kevin Vickers (Liberal Party), Kris Austin (People's Alliance), David Coon (Green Party), Mackenzie Thomason (NDP), and Gerald Bourque (KISS NB) take part in the first televised debate of the provincial election campaign. Rogers TV is partnering with Brunswick News to hold the 90-minute debate ahead of the September 14 vote. Jackson Doughart from the Telegraph Journal acts as moderator, while journalists Andrew Waugh and Tom Bateman pose questions. New Brunswick is the first province to hold a general election amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
