On Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, SpaceX made history by catching its Super Heavy booster, tail number B12, mid-air during the Starship Flight 5 mission. The company was also able to push forward the progress on the upper stage, as Ship 30 made it to a soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean while sustaining less damage as compared to Flight 4.
