Duvet Deep Cleaning - A Dry Cleaners Guide #laundry

This is a dry cleaners guide for cleaning a duvet:

1) Pretreat with an enzymatic stain remover that includes lipase to break down those yellow body oil stains! Or a bit of dish soap diluted in water; this will do a decent, but not as good job. Tamp it in with a brush and give the pretreatment at least an hour to sit on the stain before washing.
2) Wash as recommended, however I'd use a higher water temp since we're doing a deep cleaning. Adding boosters, oxygen bleach, rinse products, and or sanitizers here is wise.
3) Soak overnight in hot water and powdered oxygen bleach and rewash.
4) Dry low and slow
5) Enjoy your squeaky clean new duvet!
