Today this luxury dry cleaner is cleaning a GORGEOUS floral cut leather Valentino jacket with some pretty tough deodorant stains at the under arm.

To start I tried removing the staining with a dry cleaning and neutral lubricant solvent which did not work, then moved onto a rust remover which did not work, and finally got it out with some work on the spotting board. Sometimes some good old fashion steam power gets the job done.

Once the main issues were addressed I cleaned the exterior with a water based leather cleaner and the inside with a water and alcohol based solvent to remove some odor.

Then it was onto touch ups. I brightened the label with hydrogen peroxide, added color back into the very worn cuffs, and then conditioned the high use areas.

All in all Im really happy with how it came out 😊
