A kind passenger bought me my lunch! Blind layover. Covid flight back home, part 2

For those of you who are new to my channel, I am 100% completely blind, I have no light perception, and I wear prosthetic eyes on top of my small natural eyes.

As you can see/hear through this video, it is definitely challenging traveling through airports and on planes independently completely blind with my guiding angel Arabella Faith, however, I absolutely love showing the world that even though it may be extremely challenging at times, frustrating, exhausting LOL, it definitely is possible.

I have been completely blind for 12 1/2 years, and during these past several years I have learned how to advocate for myself, i’ve learned and developed my blindness skills, I have found more confidence through every challenge, but more importantly, I have learned how to choose joy through it all.

Even though I may not receive the most perfect assistance, with every need of mine being met the way that would work best for me, you know what? I have learned how to take a deep breath, lots of deep breath’s LOL, and approach each situation with grace and joy. I try my best to see each challenge with a positive perspective, even using these moments to educate, but just like with the beautiful flight attendant who helped me get my food, and the very nice gentleman who paid for my meal, these are the moments I truly embrace and live for when traveling alone. If I did not have my challenges, I wouldn’t have these beautiful opportunities to meet such lovely people in this world. So even on my most stressful days traveling, it’s these encounters that truly gives me strength and the motivation to keep doing it again and again. God truly has given me the most beautiful angels on my adventures, and I can’t wait to “see”, hahah, and meet new angels on my next journey 💛

PS. Many people wonder how I film my adventures, I film everything with my iPhone in landscape mode back facing while holding the camera in my right hand. I aim the camera lens on the top left corner of my iPhone at everything I am hearing, touching, and mentally visualizing. Over the past several years I have devoted a lot of time to learning how to film completely blind, with every adventure I am always perfecting my skills. I love when people compliment my filming, it just goes to show the world you don’t have to have eyesight to have vision 💛
