Gilbert Arenas Makes the GOAT argument for Kobe Bryant vs. Michael Jordan

It's a bit refreshing to hear these arguments without bringing up rings and stats with no context.

To clarify, as most reasonable fans would agree, Jordan slightly beats Kobe in the all-time greatness discussions, but most or all of this is because MJ was undeniably more athletically gifted from the start, which gives him an edge that Kobe cannot make up for. Of course there's other factors like coaching and the way they were allowed to play early on, but those are secondary. Gilbert says that the fact that Kobe played his way into that conversation without any comparable tools (hand size, vertical leap, agility) is a great testament to why he is still the greatest in the eyes of a lot of fans, and why there is still a legitimate argument.

1A and 1B is what some other players (like Kevin Durant) say about MJ and Kobe. What do you think about Gilbert Arenas' argument?

Vertical leap:
Jordan: 46-48 inches (more realistically 43-46 in-game)
Kobe: 38-40 inches (definitely improved slightly as he got older, maybe 43-44 max?)

Hand Size:
Jordan: ~10-11 in
Kobe: 9 in
