BMPT-62: Little Terminator From Algeria

Experience with the BMPT-72 and the "Berezhok" turret on the BMP-1M and BMP-2M gave Algeria the idea for the T-62 MBT, and the BMPT-62 was born.

The result is a heavy infantry fighting vehicle. The original turret of the T-62 MBT was replaced by the "Berezhok" turret of the BMP-2M. Vehicle protection is inherited from the T-62. Berezhok was also placed on the T-62 to become a fire support vehicle, unofficially designated as BMPT-62.
