Sena 200: Egypt's First Domestic IFV

At IDEX 2023, the Egyptian Sena 200 was introduced. The prototype was first shown to the public at the EDEX 2021 defense show. Similar in appearance to a Soviet BMP, the Sena 200 is Egypt's first indigenous infantry fighting vehicle. According to the Egyptian defense industry, it is a completely new vehicle.

SENA 200 was developed by the National Organization for Military Production, part of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. The front of the SENA 200 has a sloped glacis with the driver at the left and the engine compartment at the right.
