STRiDA "Magnet Spacer Upgrade Kit"
Installation instructions for STRiDA "Magnet Spacer Upgrade Kit", needed when using larger then stock tires (e.g. Schwalbe Big Apple/Marathon Tires or Maxxis Hookworm Tires).
Fatter tires space the wheels further apart and prevent the wheel magnets from engaging, while the STRiDA is folded. The Magnet Spacer Upgrade Kit safely remedies the problem, without any undo load on the wheel bearings.
The Magnet Upgrade Kit is a modification for the front wheel only, no modification for the rear is required and thus negates any potential problem with the more complex magnet keeper set up of the rear wheel.
