The next time you're painting at home and you wanna take a lunch break, here's a quick tip that'll save you from having to rinse out your paint brush or your roller. First you wanna make sure that your roller has as little paint left on it as possible. Then just wrap the sleeve of the roller in aluminum foil and crimp up the sides so that you seal out the air. Now when you get back from lunch, your roller should be ready to paint again. Now if you're gonna leave your painting for more than 12 hours or so, first remove the sleeve from the roller frame, then wrap it with aluminum foil and prop it in the refrigerator. Now you can leave that there for up to four days. When you're ready to paint again, all you need to do is pull it out, but don't unwrap the foil for at least two hours. The nap needs to warm up and become pliable before it's ready for painting.
