This is my first tile installation and it came out better than I could have expected. It's actually quite simple, although I definitely recommend knee pads.

1) Dry lay the tile so you can get the fit and measurements correct.

2) Make any cuts necessary by drawing with pencil or marker.

(I use the SKIL Saw Tile cutter in the link below. Used this beast for my floors too and it's quite cheap!)

3) Butter the floor with thinset.

4) Lay the tile!
