Long-term perspectives on gut microbiome dynamics and individual life histories in Amboseli baboons

Elizabeth Archie joined the Leibniz ScienceCampus Primate Cognition to speak about her long-time research on the Amboseli baboons in Kenya. Prof. Archie is an associate professor at the University of Notre Dame. She is interested in the evolution of social behavior in animals, with a particular focus on the effects of social relationships on health, and how social organization and behaviour affect disease and parasite spread within groups.

Prof. Archie is introduced by James Stranks from the Department of Behavioural Ecology at the University of Göttingen.
