Behind the Scenes of "Soothing Rain Sounds for Sleeping - Dimmed Screen"

Here you can witness my dedication to Acerting Art, something I've always upheld since I launched the channel: waking up at any hour of the night to record if I hear it's raining. In this instance, it was 3:20 AM and I had an alarm set for 9:30 AM. However, if it starts raining, I switch gears and record until the storm subsides, proceeding to go about the rest of my day, albeit with shifted hours.

Working for yourself certainly has its perks, like flexible hours, but it also comes with its downsides, such as never truly being "off the clock." Whether it's being ready to record at a moment's notice, networking, handling business matters, or capturing a beautiful scene for the channel, I'm always on the lookout.

Even my family has developed habits in line with my work. For instance, my mom calls me whenever she notices it's about to rain where she lives—about a half-hour drive from me—since it usually means rain will reach me in about 45 minutes. So for years now, she's been giving me a heads-up about impending showers. She's even taken countless rain videos on her phone for me, which I haven't posted due to their subpar quality. However, she gives it her best effort and supports me in any way she can.

In this video, I displayed both the time and my camera's screen. I was so sleepy that I was rather annoyed about my slumber being interrupted, yet I felt obligated to capture the rain. If I didn't, I'd be missing an opportunity that might not come again, especially considering the increasing drought issues in Spain. So there I was, recording the rain yet again.

You can clearly see the camera's screen in the video, showing the exact same shot that I'm capturing in this behind-the-scenes footage. This should serve as ample evidence that I'm the one who filmed this video.

I mention all this because YouTube has demonetized Acerting Art. My appeal was rejected on the grounds that they can't verify my ownership of the videos, since I don't appear in them. So, I'm uploading these videos that offer proof and evidence that I'm indeed the one behind the camera.

It's frustrating to see how YouTube treats nature content creators, demonetizing channels without even a warning, thereby cutting off income abruptly, regardless of the time and effort one has invested. In any case, I hope YouTube re-monetizes the channel soon so that I can continue to produce content, something I've been doing for over 10 years and have even tailored my lifestyle to accommodate.
