2007 Honda Accord V6 Timing Belt Replacement

This is a bit of a longer video, but it takes in the highlights of replacing a timing belt, water pump, idler, and tensioner in a 2007 Honda Accord 3.0L V6 from start to finish. As an apprentice I did lots of these timing belts on the previous generation of Accords, so it was fun to get in to one again.

If you are looking at buying an Accord that needs a timing belt or your 6th-7th generation Accord needs one, and have a reasonable level of mechanical aptitude, don't be afraid of performing this procedure - you need one special tool, but that tool is easy to buy/beg/borrow.

Please note that I could not include any diagrams from the service manual in an effort to avoid copyright issues with the publisher. The main timing information and critical torque values were mentioned, however.
