IBM Quantum 2022 Updated Development Roadmap
Jay Gambetta, IBM Fellow and VP of Quantum Computing, unveils the updated IBM Quantum development roadmap through to 2025.
We now believe we have what it takes to scale quantum computers into what we’re calling quantum-centric supercomputers, making it easier than ever for our clients to incorporate quantum capabilities into their respective domains, and access resources with a serverless programming model thanks to Qiskit runtime. In this video, the IBM Quantum team presents 3 new processors demonstrating breakthroughs in scaling by introducing modularity, allowing multi-chip processors, classical parallelization, and quantum parallelization to build larger, more capable systems.
