Piyush Ghosh and Michelle Figueroa: The power of good news and positive social media

We caught up with #TeamQCT member Piyush Ghosh, founder of The Optimist Citizen in India, and Michelle Figueroa, founder of the Good News Movement, to find out why they are so passionate about sharing positive stories, the moments that sparked their initiatives, and the difference their media platforms make for others.

The Optimist Citizen is India's first and only positive newspaper, and the Good News Movement is inspiring its almost 2million followers on Instagram every day!

At QCT, we use social media to empower and inspire young people to do even more for others. In a recent survey, 86% of users feel more confident in their leadership and expertise and 96% feel inspired to do more because of the positive content we share.
