Haima Health Initiative founder Bukola Bolarinwa shares her advice for young leaders
Haima Health Initiative is a youth-led organisation that raises awareness about the urgent need for young people to donate blood in Nigeria by arranging blood drives and connecting those in need to willing donors across Lagos, Abuja and Kano states. These blood drives have enabled 150 pints of blood to be collected so far, which can help up to 450 patients.🩸
In response to the ongoing CV-19 pandemic, QCT has supported Haima Health with emergency funding for 7 socially distanced blood drives, as well as the provision and private transport for donors to continue to give blood safely.
Hear from founder Bukola Bolarinwa in this video as she explains more about her reasons for founding Haima Health Initiative, and how she leverages connections to help develop strategies for her organisation.
