Kilauea Volcano Update; Record 1,500 Ft High Lava Fountains Produced

Last night on October 17th 2025, Kilauea produced its tallest lava fountains since 1959. These reached sustained heights of 1,500 feet, creating a roar that was easily audible from several miles away, sounding like the roar of a large waterfall. I filmed this while on vacation, so expect a longer segment on episode 35 of Kilauea's eruption once I return from my vacation in a week's time. The YouTube channel Two Pineapples (https://www.youtube.com/c/TwoPineapples) also makes a brief appearance, and I plan to make additional more detailed content with him later in the week.
