Katra Katra Milti hai .. – this heart warming song was sung by the ever versatile , a legend and queen of Indi-pop ‘Asha Bhonsle. Released in 1987 , it was from the album of Indian blockbuster film – Ijaazat.
The lyrics have been beautifully penned down by one of the most celebrated poets of India – ‘Gulzar’ and composed by one of the greatest music composers of Indian Film Industry – RD Burman under the label – SaReGaMa Music.
The song is about living in the moment even if for a little while and cherishing all aspects of life. It depicts the joy of living with a free spirit , someone who wants her heart to fly and not afraid to express her emotions.
