呂德安，是上個世紀八十年代新詩浪潮裡的先鋒人物，他的四十年詩歌集《傍晚降雨》，被譽為“漢語詩歌的沉潛之作”。在詩人最受追捧的那個年代，他出了國，在異鄉成為一個默默無聞的人，靠街頭賣畫為生，而後又返回故鄉，在福州山中蓋了一所自己的房子，從此與山石、溪水、松林為伴，深居簡出，過起了古人那樣“詩畫同體”的文人生活。
Lü De’an is a pioneer in the wave of new poetry in the 1980s. His 40-year collection of poems — “Bang Wan Jiang Yu (Rain in the Evening)” — is known as "the submerged work of Chinese poetry”. In the era where poets were in high demand, he went abroad, and became a nobody in a foreign country where he sold paintings on the street for a living. Later he returned to his hometown and built a house in the mountains of Fuzhou. From then on he has led a simple life in the company of mountain rocks, creeks, and pine forests. His life now is like that of the ancient literati, being both a poet and a painter.
