The Worst predictions of all time

One of the most exciting parts of watching an NBA game is the insightful, exciting, and sometimes hilarious commentary that we hear! We have come to expect on-point analysis from experienced commentators, some of which are past players and others who have been around the game for a long time, so they all should know what they are talking about, right? Well……sometimes these experienced Commentators and Analysts make some confident predictions that are way off target, and you really must scratch your head at how wrong these predictions were! We will look at some of the Analyst that has made some of the worst predictions we have heard in NBA history!

Colin Coward
Yeah…I know that we want to be entertained after a hard day's work, and it is one of the reasons we tune into watching NBA games and we also expect to be entertained by the Analyst who are giving their takes on the game. If your thing is purely entertainment, then the guy that you should listen to all day, every day is Colin Coward! Just hearing this dude speak will have you in stitches and what is even more amazing is how convincing he is with his sometimes-outlandish analysis and predictions! One of Coward's most epic predictions that is high up on the list for the worst ever prediction in basketball history is him calling Kevin Durant "just another wing guy" in 2007 and calling out any Analyst or Sports Journalist who thought Durant should be the Number one draft pick as "controversial." Coward thought Greg Oden was by far a better player than Durant and the clear number one pick. He alarmingly missed the clear all-star potential that Kevin Durant possessed and showed in high school and his one year at Texas, and everyone except Coward knew that Durant was destined to be an NBA great. The "wing guy" ended up being the Rookie of the Year in 2008, and we all know what he has done in the league since. Greg Oden……is a fleeting memory and has not been a real threat in the NBA! I wonder how Coward feels about his 2007 comments about Oden. Well…. I think he is quietly kicking himself!

"Colin the Entertainer" was at it again in 2016, and yes…he was picking on Durant again! Even after Durant had proven to be one of the best in the league for almost a decade! What can Kevin Durant do to please this guy? In his distinctive loud voice, he boldly predicted that there was "a zero percent" chance of Durant joining the Warriors……. And then this happened, less than a week later, Durant signed up with the same Warriors Team! Coward also made matters worse by saying that if Durant does join the Warriors, it would be a bad move, and the team will never win a Championship! Again…. Coward was way off the mark, the Warriors wound up winning 2 consecutive NBA titles in 2017 and 2018 and guess what KD finals MVP on both occasions was! Colin…. I think you are an amazing entertainer, but I am just a little concerned about how you come up with your predictions.
